Russia-Ukraine war likely to be high on agenda at PM Modi-US President Biden meet today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden will hold a virtual meeting on Monday before 2 + 2 ministerial dialogue. The last meeting between PM Modi and President Biden was held in March along with other quad leaders.The External Ministry (MEA) announced the Modi-Biden meeting and said that it would “allow both parties to continue their high level involvement and their high level aimed at strengthening bilateral comprehensive global strategic partnerships.”

“Both leaders will review ongoing bilateral cooperation and exchange views on the latest developments in South Asia and global problems that are very interesting,” Mea said in a statement

MEA added, “Virtual meetings will allow both parties to continue their high level involvement and their high levels aim to strengthen bilateral comprehensive global strategic partnerships”.

President Biden and Prime Minister Modi will discuss cooperation in various problems including ending the Pandemic Covid-19, against the climate crisis, strengthening the global economy, and upholding the international-based international order to improve security and democracy, the White House said in the media release.Discussion about the Indo-Pacific regionLeaders will advance ongoing conversations about the development of the Indo-Pacific economic framework and provide high-quality infrastructure.

Russia-Ukraine war

Biden may raise India’s stand on Ukraine crisis
