New Delhi: India and Pakistan must secure peace and focus on the social-economic development of their people, Pakistani New Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Tuesday while responding to a message of congratulations from PM Narendra Modi.
Sharif offers olive branches to India shortly after being elected on Monday, saying in its inaugural speech that Kashmir’s problem resolution will allow both countries to focus on shared problems such as poverty and work. Modi responded on Twitter, congratulating Sharif in its election and linking involvement with Pakistan to a free environment from terror. Thank you Premier Narendra Modi for performance.
