Coronavirus Omicron News Highlight: Health Unity Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written to all states / UTS, asking them to review and change or end the additional restrictions on Covid-19 as a pandemic in the country showing a continuous decline trend. Night curfew lifted in Uttarakhand amid decline in Covid-19 cases
The Uttarakhand government on Wednesday lifted the curfew after more than one and a half months and allowed various other economic activities to continue fully following the daily decrease in Covid cases.
According to the Covid-19 SOP revision, the night curfed in the country on December 27 to control the surge in the case of pandemic has been appointed, and a fitness center, shopping center, cinema, spa, salon, theater, auditorium and meeting room allowed open with full capacity . However, the pool and water park will remain closed until February 28.
Prohibition of political demonstrations and Dharnas will also continue until February 28, the standard operating procedure (SOP) said. Hotels, restaurants and dhabas can also open to dine with full capacity, but must be strictly following Covid norms. (Pti)
