Code 8, which turned on Netflix by 2020 after licensed to Netflix will return for the sequel and better, Netflix gets it exclusively.
Part II, the sequel to see the return of Robbie Amell and Stephen Amell again for their respective roles as Connor Reed and Garret. Did Sung Kang (fast and angry), Jai Jai Jones as Travis, or Karie Matchett as Mary Reed will not be announced.
The sequel was announced at Banff World Media Festival and marked the acquisition of the first Canadian language features.
The film began his life as a short film back in 2016 (worth watching if you haven’t) before being adapted into a feature film released in 2019 by vertical entertainment.
The first film then made Netflix Svod debut at Netflix in a large number of Netflix regions on April 11, 2020 years ago.
The film did it very well at the top 10 for several weeks with the US top 10 list of films for 16 days while it was shown on the list of top 10 films for only 2 weeks.
Code 8 Stay on Netflix now if you like jumping. It is available in a myriad of Netflix regions throughout the world including Netflix UK and Australia but especially, Canada currently does not have access to films.
The sequel is known in developing for some time. The spin-off series is also considered in development but it is in Quibi. Of course, Quibi no longer exists and Roku who now brings the majority of his library hasn’t talked about moving forward with the project.
What is expected from code 8 Part 2
In the synopsis provided for what is on Netflix, the plotline of what we can expect in season 2 is as follows:
“After witnessing the murder of his brother and covering it next, a teenage girl with abnormal abnormal abilities (Robbie Amell) and former partner-in-crime (Stephen Amell). Together, they face a corrupt police officer unit Which deploys advanced robotic technology to prevent themselves open. “
Film manufacturing expects to start in Canada later this year and the sequel will be available globally.
Chris Paré and Jeff Chan, Sherren Lee and Jesse Lavercombe are on the sequel in the writer’s room. Jeff Chan, who directs the original film, is set to direct the sequel too.
