About 4,700 people have tested positive following Boardmasters in Newquay earlier this month, with 800 thought to be living in Cornwall, but cases are spread across Britain While the newest figures show a big rise on recent weeks, the amount of deaths remains far below the height from last winter because of the progress of the vaccine rollout.
More than 87 per cent of individuals aged 16 and over in Britain have had their first dose of vaccine and quite 77 per cent have received both doses, the newest figures showed.
